He hit his 50 from just 21 balls with a hit to the side of the leg for six when he put Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa on the roof at Manuka Oval

Hales looked on the right track for a quick century, but his innings were disrupted when he was caught and bowled by part-time tweaker Nic Maddinson
