Two regional gas stations in New South Wales were alerted after a young man traveled thousands of miles across the state without knowing COVID-19

The 18-year-old Berala man visited Orange, Nyngan, and Broken Hill in the central and western regions of the state after visiting the bottle shop in the center of a cluster on Christmas Eve

The case reported in Wednesday’s numbers adds to the four locally acquired infections registered on Tuesday

Anyone who has visited any of the following gas stations should monitor symptoms and test for symptoms immediately

Those who have visited the restaurants below are considered close contacts and must be tested immediately and isolated for 14 days regardless of the result

And everyone who from Saturday, 2 January to Sunday 3 January Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park visited is an occasional contact and must be tested and isolated immediately until a negative result is received
