An Officeworks, Bunnings, Myer, and Westfield mall are among the latest additions to the list of new COVID hotspots identified by NSW Health on Wednesday afternoon

The new advice was given to parts of Sydney’s west and Wollongong after the state registered 18 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases

A new cluster that has emerged in Croydon accounts for six of the 18 new cases, all of which are part of the same extended family and include three children

In light of the cluster, Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced on Wednesday that NYE restrictions on residents in the greater Sydney area will be tightened

Health officials warn anyone who has visited the following locations to immediately test and isolate until a negative result is received:

Santa Claus Photo Booth at Westfield Burwood Shopping Center on Tuesday, April 22nd December between 11 December 3 p.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Anyone who has visited any of the following locations is asked to monitor symptoms of COVID, get tested immediately, and isolate if they occur

NSW Health has also updated recommendations for those who have visited two Greek Orthodox churches in Wollongong

Anyone who on Sunday the 27th December between 9 and 10 a.m. the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nektarios visited 3 p.m. is now considered close contact and must be tested and isolated for 14 days regardless of the result

Those who died on Sunday the 27th December between 10 Visiting the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross on December 30th and 11th are now considered casual contact and must be tested and isolated until a negative result is received

No further changes need to be marked for the third test after it was confirmed on Tuesday that the SCG will continue to host the game between Australia and India
