According to The Hollywood Reporter, soon after the post was published, Tran made the decision to step back from the limelight entirely

“I’ve gone I’ve said no to a lot of things,” she said (via Today) “It felt like I was just hearing the voice of my agents and advertising team, and all of these people were telling me what I was say and do and how I should feel And I realized that I no longer knew how I felt And I couldn’t remember why I was there in the first place

“Every time that happens, I have to close the store and go out for a while and really interact in the real world,” Tran continued (via Entertainment Weekly) “Read books and journals and go hiking and look at a tree and remember that before” Star Wars “a fire burned inside me, before any of it and I had to find that again”
