Tifare Alexander, who has worked for Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 38, for more than eight years, was recognized for his services to the couple in the New Year Honors

The Fiji-born former paratrooper – known as Tif – is part of the Cambridge small household that includes her nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo

A royal insider previously said of The Sun the Fijian, who does odd jobs and occasionally chauffeurs for the couple, was “a lovely guy – like all armies, an excellent attitude and a great sense of humor”

In the past, he has been photographed driving Kate to official events and seen in the background at work

Also recognized is Scott Furssedonn-Wood, Assistant Private Secretary to the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, who is also a member of the RVO

Mr Furssedonn-Wood is a professional diplomat who was Deputy British High Commissioner in Calcutta from 2013 to 2016

He has accompanied Charles and Camilla on many of their official trips abroad and was part of the couple’s entourage when they visited Germany in November

Last November, Prince William smiled with his delighted six-year-old housekeeper after giving her an honor at Buckingham Palace

Antonella Fresolone, 48, originally from Italy, has been head of internal affairs for Prince William and Kate for six years

Before joining Kate and William, Antonella worked as one of the Queen’s oldest housemaids and spent 13 years at Buckingham Palace

Tif, who works as the travel and logistics officer for the Duke and Duchess, was honored by the Queen for his services to the couple this New Year

She entered the household shortly before Prince George was born and even traveled with the couple from their Anglesey home before taking over Amner Hall in Norfolk and Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace

The position of 23£ 000 a year is tied to a staff apartment at the palace, and Antonella, with her strong work ethic at the time, was viewed as a ‘botch’ for the job

Founded in 1896 by Queen Victoria, the Royal Victorian Order is selected at the Queen’s discretion and is often bestowed on those who have served the monarch or the royal family with devotion

The medal has three levels: bronze, silver and gold, with Antonella becoming an honorary silver medalist
