Brandy Vaughan, a noted anti-vaccination activist who founded a nonprofit in California, is a deceased supporter, according to several friends and supporters, Vaughan was known for her public stance against vaccination through Learn the Risk, a Nonprofit organization she founded in response to mandatory vaccination laws, she was a former Merck sales representative, according to her biography on the Learn the Risk website

On her Facebook page, she explains, “Former pharmaceutical insider committed to creating a healthier world by learning about the real risks of drugs and vaccines” You can find her website here

The cause of death is not clear; News of Vaughan’s death spread on Aug. December 2020 People stressed the importance of her work in tributes, and supporters viewed her as a kind of whistleblower “This woman risked her life to spread the truth RIP, thank you for what you have done for humanity”, wrote one on a GoFundMe page on her behalf

Another woman wrote: “A true hero who inspired me to learn more and be more courageous. The time I had to learn from her and chat with her made a lasting impression. Her legacy goes on and on Live May she receive justice ”

A friend who writes Health Nut News shared a post on Facebook in which Vaughan wrote, “I NEVER thought of killing myself, not once”Even before I had my son, she said she had sole custody of her son and he needs me as much as I need him. I would NEVER think of leaving him for a second. I NEVER had, and never was, an antidepressant diagnosed depressed I have NEVER taken a daily medicine There’s no way anyone can walk into my house, no robbers, no angry exes No fanatical people. My house is like Fort Knox unless it was someone who is super professional ”

From 2004 to 2015, she wrote that she was an independent writer and editor. Her work included “freelance editing, writing and marketing advice for clients such as Philips, ABN AMRO, ING, Nike, UPC, media partner, United’s environmental program Nations (UNEP), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Friends of the Earth ”

She added, “I’ve worked on a variety of topics almost as wide-ranging as my curiosity, such as healthcare and medicine, technology, banking / finance, human resources, lifestyle, corporate responsibility, sustainability, and the environment”

“Past projects include magazine management, articles for internal and external audiences, web text, marketing materials, press releases, brochures, newsletters, white papers, conference materials, video scripts, speeches, management communications, and advertising campaigns. My experience also includes editorial and strategic communications and marketing consulting”

She was editor-in-chief of Password Magazine from 2007 to 2010 and, according to LinkedIn, was senior editor and author for ABN AMRO Asset Management in the Netherlands for two years. From 2001 to 2004 she was a sales representative at Merck

Her education was at UC Santa Barbara. One person who worked with her wrote on LinkedIn: “Brandy is a talented HR writer who is very creative and conceptual. Her insights and ideas as well as her tight writing were instrumental involved in developing and delivering a great interactive career information product to the customer ”

A GoFundMe page has more than 19$ 000 raised in Vaughan’s memory Tina Marie, who created the page, wrote:

Vaughan’s last Instagram post on Jan. This post came just one day before her death “So she hasn’t posted anything for almost a year, then she posted TWO days ago and now she’s dead ???” wrote one person in the comment thread

She didn’t have a lot of posts on Instagram, but what she did post often revolved around her young son
