COACHELLA VALLEY, CA – Business owners in the cities of Coachella and Palm Desert will be able to pick up personal protective equipment for free at separate sales events for next week it was announced Friday

The supplies were donated as part of the “Million Mask Giveaway” organized by the non-profit Coachella Valley Economic Partnership. Ab 14 million face masks, 40000 face shields and 961,000 bottles of hand sanitizer totaling approximately $ 1 million were distributed to local communities to help businesses stay afloat amid the coronavirus pandemic
Palm Desert distribution is scheduled Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or until supplies are depleted. The supply will be available at the Palm Desert Community Center, 43900 San Pablo Ave

Coachella business owners can collect their supplies at an event scheduled for Tuesday from 10am to 2pm at the Coachella Corporate Yard, 53462 Enterprise Way

Other cities that are posting details of the distribution are Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, both of which have partnered with each city’s chamber of commerce to handle the distribution

The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce has been distributing supplies to the Chamber Office, 190 W, since Wednesday Amado Road entrepreneurs can pick up their supplies Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PPE can also be picked up at Crystal Fantasy, 268 N, Palm Canyon Drive

Meanwhile, Rancho Mirage business owners will have to wait until December 28, when the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce plans to distribute pre-arranged supplies only at their offices on 71905 Highway 111, Suite H
