Mandy Moore is “offended” after an unnamed publication postponed an interview with her because of her refusal to discuss a sensitive topic

Although she’s leaving out the identity of the person she didn’t want to talk about, the topic of discussion was most likely her ex-husband, Ryan Adams

Mandy, 36, took up her Instagram stories on Tuesday, saying her blood was still boiling one day after the publication revealed her plans to cancel the interview

‘My blood is still boiling’: Mandy Moore is ‘offended’ after an unnamed publication postponed an interview with her because of her refusal to discuss a sensitive topic

“I was hesitant to share this when I received it yesterday for many reasons, but woke up thinking about my blood still boiling,” she wrote of her report, ‘This is from a publication, who has endeavored to write a comprehensive piece about my life and career

‘When they were told I had talked a lot about a certain topic in my life and would not comment further (there are really tons of interviews you could draw from, this story is over and there is nothing more to say ) This was the answer we got back

‘Every comment I make on this experience turns into an instant clickbait, giving them the energy and time they are looking for and which they have stolen from too many for too long and have been in this business for over 2 decades active and got a lot to tell and sure this publication can do what it wants but the message it sends is offensive and therefore touches on the cultural discussion of abusive relationships that directly links the value of a person to their abuser

‘Refusing to interview anyone unless they agree to relive that trauma publicly? No thanks I’m about to give birth any second and I’m not afraid to draw healthy boundaries Bye ‘

Offended: Moore said she was “not afraid to draw healthy boundaries” with this release while pregnant

Mandy added the original message to the publication, revealing her plans to withdraw from the interview after refusing to discuss the matter

“From our point of view it would be difficult not to address it in the interview of the following piece,” wrote the publication on the subject whose identity Mandy had withheld in the post

‘We’d like to have a supportive interview that introduces Mandy’s entire life and career Part of it would inevitably involve discussing her time given the impact it had on her life and career
Difficult Past: Although she leaves out the identity of the person she didn’t want to talk about, the topic of discussion was most likely her ex-husband Ryan Adams (pictured 2012)

‘If Mandy doesn’t want to talk about it, although we have to respect it and it would be wrong for us to continue with the interview’

Mandy has already looked into her relationship with Ryan, who has been accused of causing emotional and psychological abuse to women, including Moore,

Mandy was married to the rocker from 2009 to 2016, but allegations were made in a February 2019 revelation published by the New York Times

Seven women – including his former fiancée Megan Butterworth and former flame Phoebe Bridgers – accused him of abuse

Painful disclosure: Mandy was married to the rocker from 2009 to 2016, but allegations were made in a February 2019 disclosure published by the New York Times (pictured 2010)

There have been allegations that Adams was “dangling career opportunities in exchange for sex” and taking revenge on the women who spurned his advances by sabotaging their careers and harassing them via text messaging and social media

Adams was also accused of sending sexually explicit messages to an underage fan, which he deniedAfter an FBI investigation, he was exempted from “sexting” the underage female fan, according to the FBI

Over the summer, Adams apologized for his “harmful behavior” in an open letter published exclusively by DailyMail

When turning to the public apology, Mandy said TODAY to Hoda Kotb, “You know, it’s a challenge because in many ways I feel like I’ve said everything I say about him and this situation would like ‘

She continued: ‘But I find it strange that someone apologizes publicly but doesn’t do it privately

‘I speak for myself but haven’t heard from him and I’m not necessarily looking for an excuse, but I find it strange that someone would interview it without actually making amends in private’
