Flash boss Eric Wallace has spoken about the fate of a main character after the dramatic premiere of the seventh season

The Arrowverse series celebrated last night (Jan. March) her long-awaited return as it has not aired for the longest time since her debut in 2014 due to delays and rewritings related to pandemics

In the episode entitled “Everything is good, what ends well”, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Co were looking for an energy source for their artificial speed force and it wasn’t long before they found out that their best The choice was to take advantage of the multiversal particles in Nash Wells’ body, thanks to the many Wellses who lived in his brain

But when they learned the particles were too unstable to be used on their own, Nash (Tom Cavanagh) sacrificed himself so Barry could regain his speed

Actor exits aren’t always that easy when it comes to The Flash, and while the characters don’t know the multiverse is still one thing, viewers know something else

With this, Wallace is reassuring that Cavanagh will continue to be a part of the show, and such a fact is unlikely to shock fans considering how “we’ve already seen that there are an infinite number of Wellses”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he added, “Just because they’re all dead doesn’t mean that should change. Tom has more to do – a lot more to do in season 7”

Elsewhere in the interview, Wallace shed light on Nash’s reasons for dying in the name of the common good and how he was trying to “correct the greatest mistake that can be made that makes all worlds do it.””die” in the intersection “Crisis on Infinite Earths”

“To be taken over by the anti-monitor” he carried on “What he is doing here is that, in my view, he takes the greatest superhero in the Arrowverse, the Flash, and allows him to do his job again

“There’s no better way to honor and make amends than to do that. But also on a micro level, it’s about showing Allegra [Kayla Compton] that he can change and be a better person than that was really important because his death affects Allegra and is positive and not negative “
