The Swedish csgo matchmaking platform Esportal has issued a statement on the VAC bans received from a large number of players including Fnatic star Freddy’ KRIMZ ‘Johansson who appear to be using their service

As previously reported, the problem appears to be in Esportals Anticheat, and the Swedish organization has repeated that the problems appear to be due to compatibility issues between their private Anticheat and VAC

We already mentioned in our previous report that there is a similar incident with 5E Arena in Asia and Esportal highlighted this in their statement and reiterated that it was a similar problem and that they are working tirelessly on it To ensure this, VAC bans caused by their anticheat will be reversed and users will be able to play freely on their platform without fear of their VAC being blocked from the Steam account

As you may have noticed, some esportal players have been handed VAC bans in the past few days. This issue appears to be due to compatibility issues between our anti-cheat client and VAC.We contacted Valve immediately after we learned of the problem They again asked us to send in documents, which we took care of immediately. We believe that what we are currently experiencing is similar to what happened in the 5E arena in October, where due to a conflict and compatibility issue between the client of the 5E Arena and the CS: GO trust mode VAC bans have not been considered. We believe we can solve the problem in the same way as they do by making sure our software works in accordance with VAC and that any bans we want are lifted also underline that we are convinced that the bans that we have seen in the past few days have nothing to do with in fact em have fraud to do

We apologize for the disturbance and are working hard to solve the problem together with Valve, with a focus on:

Reverse All VAC Bans To make our anti-cheat work without causing problems, we will continue to work with Valve to find a solution to this particular problem and to avoid similar problems in the future so that those of us users, who are not affected don’t have to worry

Since this problem has not yet been resolved and we do not want to endanger the status of our players, we have decided to close all match play on the esportal platform until a solution has been found. We are convinced that we will in the next Days we will find a solution with which we can reopen the platform

We understand and share the deep frustration our loyal community is feeling right now. We hope to be back soon and continue our work to contribute to the positive community around CS: GO

We will keep you updated as we get more information from Valve and work on implementing a solution

Esportal also stated that they will discontinue their services with immediate effect until such a solution is reached with Valve to prevent further players from being affected by the compatibility issue

Esportal has moved quickly to ensure that they can provide the players affected by their platform with the best possible service and fairness in some way It will be exciting to see how long it will take before Valve actually offers them justice and security, their anticheat
