A 1992 clip by Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns is making its rounds on Twitter, and fans are amazed at the villainy of the DC Comics ‘Ability – namely their skills with a whip
The clip shared by Netflix social media manager Jarett Wieselman shows Pfeiffer as Selina Kyle / Catwoman skillfully cutting off the mannequins’ heads while she is shooting a scene for the Tim Burton movie – which she made famous in one take did
“Reminder: Michelle Pfeiffer whipped the heads of those four mannequins IN ONE TAKE to thunderous applause from the Batman Returns crew,” he wrote along with the video, which has amassed nearly 1.5 million views in just four hours
In fact, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Pfeiffer did all of her own whip stunts for the film in which she starred alongside Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Danny DeVito as Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin
“She was better than her stunt folks,” Burton told Rolling Stone in 1992, “She made the whip beautiful, some kind of art form”

She’s got it too The actress even brought out the original film prop and posted it on Instagram in 2019 – and again in December 2020 during an interview. She also showed off her whip skills and wrote, “Just like riding a bike”
While most fans were rocked by her whip, some fans didn’t seem to believe that Pfeiffer actually did the formidable stunt himself and insisted it was just a little bit of movie magic, “She’s an absolute ass, but there is clearly people behind the mannequins pulling their heads off, “wrote one hater
The comment made some crack the whip “You could have just said she was a bad guy You really had to buuut the whole mansplaining thing” “Do? Women can be applauded for being badasses just for being badasses,” refuted another Twitter user
Catwoman, also portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry, is set to hit the big screen again, this time played by Zoë Kravitz alongside Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman”
