The Forest Green Rovers game against Oldham Athletic was abandoned shortly after the break on Saturday afternoon after bad weather resulted in unplayable conditions

Before the game, the game looked dubious when heavy snow settled on the Innocent New Lawn, but it started to slow down and stopped falling 20 minutes before kick-off

The competition started bright and lively, both teams trying their best to keep warm Aaron Collins had the first chance of the game for Forest Green After four minutes, the Rovers forward ran one on one with Ian Lawlor, but the Latics goalkeeper went through did well to come down and keep the score at 0-0

Collins had another great chance to put Rovers ahead on eleven minutes After Nicky Cadden had worked some space on the left side of the box, he found Collins’ head after a cross, but Lawlor was up to the challenge and parried the danger

During halftime the game looked dubious again when thick fog fell on New Lawn It took over half an hour for officials to decide whether the competition could take place, but it was determined that it was playable

After 57 minutes and with the fog thickening, the officials decided to abandon the game
