Nicola Sturgeon has announced that the whole of mainland Scotland will be closing in on Jan. December will be switched to level four of the restrictions

Level four, the highest of Scotland’s five levels, prevents households from mixing, closes pubs and restaurants, and closes non-essential retail stores

Stage four lasts at least three weeks and is checked before relaxation

The Christmas break for most Scottish students was extended to 11 January extended and the majority will start the new semester from home, announced Nicola Sturgeon

The Prime Minister said schools would reopen to some students, such as the children of key workers, as currently planned

For most students, however, the new school year starts on the 11th January, with online learning “at least” on 18 January takes place

Tier 4 does not include socializing in households with a maximum of 6 people from 2 households

All hospitality is closed. Bar Hotels and other accommodation providers can still serve food to qualified guests

Tier 4 does not include non-essential travel in or out of the Level 4 area and restricts travel when only essential retail stores are open

Children under the age of 12 from these households do not count towards the total number of people counted in a congregation

Teenagers between 12 and 17 years old can meet outdoors in groups of up to 6 people and are not subject to the 2 household limit; physical distancing is required

Hairdressers, hairdressers and stadiums will remain closed with weddings / civil partnerships with a maximum of 15 people and funerals and guards to 20 people
