The disappearance of a woman who has not been heard from since Wednesday evening is “increasingly worrying” according to the police

Sarah Everard, 33, disappeared walking home from the Clapham Junction area to Brixton in south London

Ms. Everard spoke to her partner on the way but has not been heard since, said friend Rose Woollard

She said her phone signal was last picked up near Clarence Avenue between her home and the place where she left another friend

Friends who last heard from the 33-year-old around 9:30 p.m. GMT on the day she went missing were unable to contact Ms. Everard on Thursday and notified the police

She is 162 cm tall, slim and blonde and wore a green coat, dark pants and sneakers, said her best friend, Mrs. Woollard

She said, “Sarah and I met many years ago when we were studying together at Durham University. She has always been an exceptional friend and has dropped anything to support her friends whenever they need them

“Just recently, she shared the good news that she was looking forward to her new role as Senior Marketing Account Manager

“It is very unusual for her to be gone, which is why we are all deeply concerned that something has happened to her”
