A two-part TV special that featured a Cambridgeshire mother who conspired to kill her ex-husband aired last night

The 24-hour police custody special “Black Widow” was launched on April 4 and 5 Aired January 1st, following the dark story of Victoria Breeden from Littleport

Breeden tried to persuade three men to kill her husband Rob Parkes between 2014 and 2019 after losing custody of their child after the couple divorced in 2008

The terrifying Channel 4 show went behind the scenes of the police operations in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire to uncover exactly what was going on

Breeden, 39, of Black Horse Drove, was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison at Chelmsford Crown Court in July after convicting three homicide charges

“These perpetrators are so good at manipulation, love bombing, that people ignore the red flags of their very good actors and are very believable,” said one viewer

“Such a good program that people can see and see if they are related to anything and can go out or seek help sooner rather than later”

“The show shows that Cambridgeshire Police, whoever is involved, take all domestic abuse matters seriously, and I encourage everyone who suffers to contact us and be sure we are will help ”
