That ’70s Show actress Roberts’ partner said he previously agreed to take the life support from her because doctors told him it was “compassionate” – given her kidneys, liver and gallbladder failed when she failed fought a urinary tract problem along with hepatitis C and a fatal blood infection and then spread through her body

“They told me that all of her body functions, her organs, have been broken down and she could never become the same again – she would be bedridden for the rest of her life,” if she were kept alive by artificial means, O’Brien said about Roberts, who also starred in the final season of “Charlie’s Angels” on television in the early 1980s

Confusion had swirled over Roberts’ final moments after her publicist Mike Pingel prematurely announced her death Sunday

“[Pingel] says,” What happened? “And I say,” I just said goodbye to Tanya and saw her beautiful eyes one last time “and after that I just bubbled,” recalled O’Brien

Pingel retired Monday from Robert’s death, saying she was still alive but had been in the intensive care unit in a “bad” condition from that morning

O’Brien said his 15-year-old partner was put on a ventilator because she was having difficulty breathing despite not having COVID-19 after she collapsed at her home in early December 24, telling the Post, that the hospital had called him to visit on Sunday because she was near death and that he spoke to Pingel afterwards

“She was gone in every way,” O’Brien said Monday, adding that doctors had taken Roberts off life support, “She hasn’t been there for the past three days,’ ’

“She loved” That ’70s Show “more than anything else in the world. She loved it more than any of her films,” he said

“It is with a heavy heart that I can confirm the death of Tanya Roberts,” said the spokesman

He added that Roberts was an animal rights activist and that her family is asking for donations to the ASPCA instead of flowers

“An online memorial to Tanya Roberts will be announced shortly,” added Pingel. “The family requests privacy while mourning their deaths”
